A recent compressed air survey at a local food processing company offered considerable savings by replacing there existing compressor with the new improved Atlas Copco GA18VSD+ air compressor. Not only has it reduced the running costs but also reduced the amount of CO2 produced in running the process. The customer has been impressed with the new equipment and agreed for a new nitrogen system to be installed to reduce further costs by providing there own source of Nitrogen. New Atlas Copco VSD+ drive compressors supply the Atlas Copco NGP+ generators in which the compressed air filtered and 99.9% Nitrogen has been left.
