About You:
Are you an experienced engineer who loves solving technical challenges and keeping things running smoothly?
We’re looking for a hands-on Service Engineer to join our growing team — someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys variety, and thrives on getting systems back up and running.
You’ll be working on everything from installation, servicing, and repairs of small piston units to large-scale 250kW+ screw, vane, and scroll compressors — plus oil-free and nitrogen systems, blowers, vacuum pumps, and more. No two days are the same!
What You’ll Be Doing
Service, repair, and rebuild compressors and related equipment for our customers.
Diagnose faults, attend breakdowns, and carry out efficient on-site repairs to keep downtime to a minimum.
Spot opportunities for additional maintenance while on-site and work closely with our service team to plan the next steps.
Carry out installations, pipework, and commissioning for compressed air and nitrogen systems.
Complete job documentation to a high standard — accuracy and communication are key!
Support insurance inspections and occasionally lead small project teams on installations.
What We’re Looking For
We’re after someone with a strong engineering foundation — ideally from an engineering, plant maintenance, automotive, or agricultural background — and good electrical, mechanical and diagnostic skills.
You’ll be:
A practical problem-solver who enjoys hands-on work.
Confident working solo or as part of a supportive team.
Ready to respond to both planned service work and the occasional crisis call-out.
Physically fit and safety-conscious — happy to handle heavy equipment safely and work at height (training provided).
Friendly, reliable, and loyal — the kind of person customers trust and colleagues enjoy working with.
Level 2 Mechanical Engineering and or Electrical Engineering equivalent required or an equivalent completed Apprenticeship.
Up to Level 3 Mechanical Engineering and or Electrical Engineering equivalent advantageous.
A full UK driving licence is essential.
What You’ll Get
Full compressed air systems training — we’ll help you expand your skills and confidence.

Support from a small, friendly team that values initiative and expertise.
A chance to make a real difference to customers who rely on your technical know-how.
A basic salary package together with a quarterly spares bonus*, paid overtime, discretionary bonuses and a company pension scheme. Enhanced holiday allowance* company sick pay scheme*
